The 14-year-old Neurosynaptic Communications founded by Sameer Sawarkar and Rajeev Kumar has indigenously developed and patented technology telemedicine solution ReMeDi, which is a comprehensive and portable m-health solution for screening, primary diagnosis and triaging that connects the entire healthcare ecosystem.

The company has been enabling access of quality healthcare for masses to overcome healthcare challenges in the country. Most of its deployments are in the rural areas, where 70 per cent population resides. It has enabled the largest network of centers for telemedicine in 2,200 villages with 8,000 health workers promoting public health to a population of 50 million in rural areas. NCPL currently covers 10 states in India, including Tamil Nadu, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, UP, Bihar, Rajasthan, Bengal and Tripura. ReMeDi Technology has reduced accessibility from 4.2 kms to 3.4 kms. Services provided are 1.5 times lesser in cost than those at urban healthcare centres, leading to a healthier nation.
